I just finished reading the personal reflections by Rick’s friends in his Newtown Scenes book. What beautiful words! I felt their memories as if they were my own. I’ve always wanted to live in the northeast and experience the beauty. Rick’s pictures in this book have brought me as close to my dream as possible.

I loved this book!
The personal essays let me enjoy this small New England town as if my friends were telling me their experiences. I do love the paintings of the old church and bridge everyone jumped from into the river. It’s hard to pick a favorite painting because I can picture such an amazing childhood experience within each one.
